Helping Wounded Warriors Find Fulfilling Careers

Teresa Bailey-Weirich leverages extensive experience in retail and commercial real estate to serve as senior director of market planning for a high-profile banking entity. In this position, Teresa Bailey-Weirich provides strategic oversight, planning, and management to retail-banking market plans and site selection. Aside from her professional responsibilities, Ms. Bailey-Weirich supports a number of charitable organizations, including the Wounded Warrior Project.

The Wounded Warrior Project is an organization dedicated to helping our nation’s wounded veterans successfully adjust to life after the military. Helping veterans find employment they enjoy is one of the ways it accomplishes this. The Warriors to Work program helps veterans identify their experience and abilities so that they can be matched with suitable employment opportunities. Career counselors help veterans set goals, write a resume, and build an online presence, as well as training them in interviewing and networking techniques.

The Onward to Opportunity program, a partnership with the Veterans Career Transition Program, is an option for many veterans, providing essential training in careers related to customer service, information technology, and business management. After successfully completing the classroom or online program, the veterans receive professional certification and assistance in their subsequent career search.
